Sara Sabey, Director
Sara has worked in the events industry for over 12 years. Her background includes working in London on royal charity events (including with HRH, The Prince of Wales), spring racing carnival marquees, corporate balls and dinner dances, large-scale conferences and planning weddings. Sara’s wealth of contacts in the industry means she can deliver anything her clients require ensuring excellent performance and quality from suppliers.
Along with years of experience and understanding of the trade, every event organised by Sara is managed effortlessly with efficiency, competence and superb results. She is personally involved with every event she plans and works with a team of specialist professionals in the industry bringing impeccable service and years of experience.
Sara’s formal qualifications include:

Stephanie Walsh, Event Co-ordinator
Stephanie has worked in the events industry for over four years. Her background includes Media advertising events in Melbourne, fund raising events for charities including the Red Cross, and events for The Global Foundation.
She has worked with Chameleon Events as an event coordinator for over two years and has managed weddings, parties and corporate events at a number of Melbourne venues. Stephanie has worked in the media advertising industry in Melbourne, working with a number different businesses developing campaigns to suit their needs and is currently undertaking her diploma of event management. She has also completed courses in first aid, time management and presentation skills.
This unique set of qualifications has provided Stephanie with the ability to ‘think outside the square’ and find creative solutions to your events needs. She is an asset to Chameleon Events with her attention to detail, calm demeanour, ensuring that your function is impeccably managed.
Cindy Plowman, Event Co-ordinator
Cindy has worked in the events industry for over 5 years. Her background includes working at the world heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building where she managed in excess of 30 large scale events, exhibitions and conferences a year. These events included the annual Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, Théâtre du Soleil, The Antiques Roadshow and an 80th birthday luncheon for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Cindy also developed her own exhibition, Sweet Temptation Expo, which attracted in excess of 7,000 visitors. Participants enjoyed sampling the produce of over 70 businesses and participating in confectionery classes and workshops. Cindy completed a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Event Management in 2005. She has continued her events education and participated in courses such as, Risk Management for Events, time management and project planning. Cindy brings a fresh and creative approach to Chameleon Events and is easily able to develop a rapport with individuals. She can be described as being organised, creative, patient and enthusiastic.
